Harken back to the darker days…....

the days without a neighborhood Pub. Days without the consistently great Guinness pour, days when $2.50 Highlife draught was merely the gimmick of a corporate monster, the days when the word pub meant very little more than a once a year trip to the Irish pseudo-pub, days when beer and cheese were mutually independent (and certainly were not allowed to merge to make one glorious soup), days when you had to get a burger that was frozen until 10 minutes ago, days when sentences were not quite this long.

Now jump forward to November 18, 2005.  Hair of the Dog Pub opened it’s doors and embraced the city of Chattanooga with a hearty mouth hug for all to enjoy.

The Terminal BrewHouse is a locally owned and operated business; as such we go to great lengths and expense to utilize local products and services whenever available. It is our goal to be a contributing member of our neighborhood and city for years to come. In order to achieve this goal we have instituted many green practices and initiatives. That being said, the kitchen and brewhouse are the heart and soul of what we do and why we are here. Only the freshest foods and finest hops make it into the Terminal and our passion is that only world-class beer and exceptional food make it to your table. We sincerely thank you for coming and promise this is as serious as we will ever get.

The Honest Pint

Once upon a time, before mass transit and cable television every community had a neighborhood pub. The townsfolk shared all aspects of social life outside of church there. Twas no need for two for one drinks or Ultimate fighting championships because you were rich in food, festivities and fraternity at your local pub.

Now eons later, we reintroduce said olden concept of less unnecessary stimuli and more fun and camaraderie. Play some pool, throw some darts, or maybe just relax with an honest pint and enjoy being among friends.

Beast + Barrel

We are not into the see and be seen…scene. We take our food and drink seriously; ourselves not so much. Our goal has never wavered; we've always worked to build the kind of place that we, as Chattanoogans would want to frequent. A real community hangout that just happens to hold the highest quality food and drink. We back our handmade goods and friendly face with the best value we can offer. From the day we open we will continue to grow, to strive for awesomness and shape ourselves around the relationships we've forged with our neighbors our farmers and all those who pass through our doors. Taking nothing for granted, we see every day as a new opportunity to grow with our guests.

Thank you for joining us... now get to it.

Respectfully,

Us
